|
|
We have today been advised by United Utilities that there will be disruption to the main utility power at our Ball Green datacentre in Manchester, due to engineering works in the vicinity
The datacentre will be running on our standby power generators for a significant part of Thursday 10/12/09
The generators and UPS are reguarly tested, with a full power failure is simulated each month. We conducted a full mains-failure test on Monday this week, which flagged up no issues. We are confident there will be no disruption to service at this facility for the duration of this outage |

We are still on generator power and have been checking UPS/generator status every 30 minutes, all is operating as expected.
We hope to be off generators within the next 1-2 hours. |

| We are back to normal, being supplied with mains grid power. All backup power systems worked as expected, without any disruption to critical equipment |
