The resellers are not web designers but they sell websites using the Plesk Site Builder and each reseller runs one or more personal sites on which they sell advertising.

Some resellers offer web design not using the site builder and we have been producing those sites for them using Dreamweaver. The resellers use both Dreamweaver or Contribute to edit content. We simply produce the basic site layout etc from their/customers design ideas.

The resellers do not have control panel access, we kept that in house to reduce support requests.

The resellers we now have are all long term customers. Have learnt pretty much all they need to know so produce very little in support requests.

We consider this to be an ideal opportunity for a small web design company to gain a new sales outlet for their design services. It would also offer them the chance to move to a dedicated server for their hosting. The server offered has lots of capacity available for new sites.

We have other business interests too and will be focusing our own efforts in different areas over the coming months and so wish to move this part of our business onto a new owner.

It's difficult to put a price on the business as it means different things to different people so we are looking for offers. We are also keen to move the business onto someone who would respect the current resellers are also in business and their businesses are their own sources of income.

Also included in the purchase will be the sole rights to a ready built web application that these resellers use to run their own personal sites, basically it's a community site application (ASP + ASP.NET) that can contain advertising for businesses. It's backend driven so does not require web designer skills to operate. It has a brand name/domain name that we used to market the product. We are not currently marketing the product. The new owner could start that up again if they wanted to. We do have registered around 17 domain names reflecting locations in the UK that expire over the next few weeks which we would transfer over to the new owner.
