I am having an absolute nightmare with PayPal. The documentation doesn't match what appears within their system, code samples are incomplete and I'm stuck as to what to do next, I don't even know if what I want to acheive is possible with OH.

Here's the scenario.

We're setting up a site whereby customers buy an item. The money for he item is split between the site owner and company selling the item. We want the company selling the item to get their money straight away and PayPal's "Parallel Payment" system fits this.

I'm writing the site in classic asp for which there are no code samples but loking at the PHP version (for which there is code), I've got to the point where the site is reporting that:

"A certificate is required to complete client authentication "

This is where the PayPal documentation falls down, following the instruction they give, there is nowhere to download a certificate, only a signiture. Any ideas where I can get the certificate from.

Also, and this could be the main issue, how would I use the certificate on Open Hosting or do they have one that I use?

Sorry to be so long winded but it's been a long few days trying to work through this and I'm starting to get more than a little fed up with it. Any help you give will be gratefully received.

OK, it looks like the certificate system isn't set up in PayPal Sandbox.

Any ideas on how I test the site now would be appreciated!

*lol* glad you got it sorted. Paypal can be a pain to setup but once you have it, it should be fine from their on in. I have Paypal code that has been running for years without change.
